[pi !] – Rocking the year 2011 with energy-packed alternative rock!

In spring of 2008 the pieces fell in place – Four young and creative musicians from Dresden came together. Under the name [pi !] they have since been playing stirring alternative rock, which in its substance is falling short of no international rock-act!
More than 200 shows so far have proved their music to conquer ears and hearts wherever they go.
[pi !] has won a fast-growing fan base in no time flat. Among countless solo- support- and festival-shows, including a performance on Germanys biggest stage, the official FIFA FAN FEST, [pi !] opened the Alterna-Stage at Germanys biggest festivals, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in 2011, sharing the stage with bands like Korn, Sevendust, Rob Zombie and others.
Together with their producers, [pi !] spent the last 3 months of 2010 in their studio in Berlin, creating a mind-blasting debut album. The unique voice carried by the diversified, yet distinctive sound of the tight band. Ranging from hard guitar-riffs over dynamic grooves to singer/songwriteresque tracks, the record never fails to get under ones skin.
The first two singles of the debut record "A Perfect Beginnig" - "Radio" and "Overcome" - have both been received very well. In the rock charts of Germanys biggest video-platform myvideo.de "Radio" started on the second place (96.500 views so far) while "Overcome" immediately hit first place in both rock and pop charts (72.800 views so far).
The bands boundless sound combined with the English lyrics gives reason to hope for interest beyond the borders of Germany.
